The Legacy also offers the all-wheel-drive option in most vehicles as a standard feature, and this gives it a great ride. In fact, the Legacy is offered with a choice of two power train options. Interestingly enough, you'll find that the Legacy - even though it is an all-wheel-drive car, which tends to lag in fuel efficiency - still gets one of the best MPG ratings in its class. Even the turbocharged engine does not seek a marked difference in fuel economy.

The Legacy also offers a great deal of infotainment options, such as Bluetooth and access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto software.

The Crosstrek

The Crosstrek is a newer Crossover Sports Utility Vehicle in the Subaru lineup. Like other Subarus, the Crosstrek is all-wheel-drive, but it can be outfitted as a four-wheel drive as well. The Crosstrek tends to drive more like a hatchback, so those who like the look of an SUV but perhaps not the handling will enjoy the Crosstrek. The Crosstrek is also offered as a plug-in hybrid vehicle.

The Crosstrek is available in five trim levels:

• the Base
• the Premium
• the Sport
• the Limited
• the Hybrid

Other Subaru Sports Utility Vehicles

Two of the most popular Subarus are the Forester and the Outback. Both of these SUVs are considered to be full-sized, seat up to six, and offer many standard amenities you won't see in similarly-priced Sports Utility Vehicles.

Some consider the Outback more of a wagon, and some love the potential of the Subaru Outback. It is also considered a vehicle that will go most anywhere around Ballston Lake, and it offers the same EyeSight safety features as the cars in the Subaru lineup.
